About me

waiting to drop in

Katie Bailey lives in Toronto, Ontario and works as a freelance writer. Her professional responsibilities include writing about ski resorts, outdoor sports and the construction industry (not all at the same time, obviously). She also really, really likes to go ‘boarding whenever the weather allows. Katie fuels this fast-paced lifestyle with large amounts of coffee, Red Bull, and pep talks with her turtle, Harold.

An early enthusiast of Web 1.0, Katie found herself a bit late to the Web 2.0 party, but has recently discovered the joys of RSS feeds, Facebook, Twitter (arg), and yes, blogging. She says she doesn’t care if anyone else reads her online output, but secretly hopes they will.

Check out Katie and her (much more professional) blog and writing portfolio at www.katiebailey.ca.

    Hi Katie,

I was wondering if you are the same Katie Bailey whose grandparents owned the Harold Cheese factory near Stiring?

I’ve been looking for the cheese factory and live in the neighbourhood, but can’t find it. Does it still exist?

    Hope your turtle is well

    Judi
